Deacon Convener Paul Leigh, Past Deacon Convener John Fyffe MBE, Collector Bruce Donaldson and Past Deacon Convener Ray Edwards were guests at the Irvine Trades Big Pie Dinner.

The Irvine Incorporated Trades were celebrating their 380th Big Pie Event, bringing together representatives of the Seven Trades, officers from trades across Scotland, and their distinguished Deacon Conveners.

This historic organisation continues its important work as steward of the Seven Trades, promoting social history, culture and welfare, while encouraging young people through schools and apprenticeships to achieve their full potential and excel in their chosen fields of learning and work.

A special welcome was extended to the new Deacon Convener, Russell Collins, together with a commitment of support for his term of office.
