The Ladies of the Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee made a generous donation to Dundee International Women’s Centre today.
Sheena Devlin, Sarah Craig, Wendy Maltman and Mhairi Towler visited the Centre at Manhattan Works to hand over the cheque to the women who use the facility.
Dundee International Women’s Centre provides learning, support and community programmes for women from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on empowering those who are new to the city or facing social or economic barriers. The Centre offers language classes, skills training, wellbeing activities and a welcoming space where women can build confidence, connect with others and access opportunities that help them thrive.
The funds were raised through donations made at the Nine Trades Ladies’ Day event in March.
