At the Dyers annual dinner they held a raffle to raise money to support local charity, the Strathmartine Community Larder which is fully managed by a team of volunteers to enable people from the Strathmartine area of Dundee an alternative cheap source of essential groceries. Development Worker, Carly Stuart Macleod said, “At a time when we read headlines of Dundee being the second highest in the UK for child poverty with areas of multiple deprivation, we see more and more great volunteers giving up time money and resources to help combat this problem”. The raffle raised £290 and with funds from The Dyers, £500 was donated to this worthy cause.
