The Rotary Club of Dundee Centenary Committee, invited the Nine Trades of Dundee to join with them in this initiative, and to provide funding of £10,000 to give a Total Fund for these Local Charities of £20,00 to £30,000. It was badged as a joint operation, and provided an excellent publicity opportunity for both the Rotary Club and the Nine Trades. Deacon Convenor Murray presented a cheque for £2000 to Street Soccer Scotland who have been working in Dundee since 2010, using football to create positive impacts on the lives of those most disadvantaged and most at risk of poverty.
