Iain Murray attended a meeting Wednesday 16th January where he presented a cheque to support the Mid-Lin Day Centre. Chair of the Board, Joyce Macintosh outlined the progress made over the past years and the overall success of the Centre. Social isolation and loneliness are challenges faced by many groups. At Mid-Lin, they support adults and older people who are affected by a degree of physical or mental disability and are experiencing social isolation. Mid-Lin Ltd aims to promote independence, privacy, choice, dignity and safety, to support the people who use our services to be part of the wider community. Joyce said, ‘We do our best to give older people of Dundee a better quality of life and embrace them into the hub of the community’.
